I say family because that's how Soke wants his organization to be. I just read an article in black belt magazine, where "someone" (who will remain nameless) suggests, "if you want to be part of the select group of 300, we will grow physically, financially, and spiritually.... you are my family and my friends. All members of this elite group must pay their $100/mo fee...." The time, tears, and sweat is payment enough. Growing in God and through God, while having an honorable instructor and coach is what's needed ~ not $100 to remain in good standing.... God's speed.
